Referral Guide

OTO rewards community BUIDLers. You BUIDL the OTO community when you refer new users. This can be done in two ways: sharing a referral link or creating an airdrop.

The OTO reward program has 2 levels, so you benefit from activities of both DIRECT and INDIRECT referred users.

To Refer Others, You Must Be Referred

You must first have a referrer before you can generate a referral URL or create an airdrop to refer others to OTO. Without a referrer, features to refer others will be disabled. Get a referrer by accepting an airdrop from a referrer or buy some OTO following the referrer’s referral link.

Referral Through Referral Link

Once you have a referrer, you may start referring others to OTO by sharing your referral link. To get your referral link, visit the OTO Referral Page. Click “Referral Program” and copy your referral link.

Share this link with your intended referred user. When the referred user follows the link correctly, the referral field will be pre-set and unchangeable.

A referral relationship is active when a referred user makes the first OTO purchase following the link. You will see an additional referred user in your referred user count.

You may not refer an address that already has a referrer. Each address can only be bound to one successful referral, which is the first one.

Referral Through Airdrops

Once you have a referrer, you may also start referring others to OTO by creating an airdrop. Follow OTO Airdrop Guide to do so. This is the preferred way to make sure a new address is bound to you as a referred user because all that a referred user needs to do is to click the “Claim” button.

A referral relationship is active when a referred user claims your OTO airdrop. You will be able to see an additional referred user in your Level 1 referred user count.

Your airdrop will not have any referral effect if an airdrop recipient already has an existing bound referrer.

Note that there is a 5.0% fee when creating an airdrop.

OTO Referral Rewards

An OTO referrer receives referral rewards when:

• A referred user buys OTO from the OTO Buy Page. Referred users are encouraged to do so because buying from this page with a referrer address inputted is the only way to take advantage of a 0.3% Buy Fee.

• A referred user transfers away OTO.

• A referred user sells OTO on any swap.

• A referred user creates an airdrop.

The OTO reward program has 2 levels. So, you benefit from activities of your referred users and also the people your referred users refer.

Referral rewards are cleared and distributed to referrers immediately. Claiming is simple. Visit the OTO Referral Page and connect your wallet. Click "Claim" then "Confirm" on your wallet extension pop up and wait for the transaction to clear. You should see the claimed OTO in your wallet.
